Refund Policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with VoiceToPrompt. If for any reason you're not happy with your purchase, we offer a straightforward refund policy.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid licenses (Monthly, Annual, and Lifetime). If you're not satisfied with VoiceToPrompt within 30 days of your purchase, you can request a full refund — no questions asked.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at support@voicetoprompt.app with the following information:

  • Your full name
  • Email address used for the purchase
  • Order ID or license key
  • Brief reason for the refund (optional, helps us improve)

We aim to respond within 24 hours on business days.

Refund Processing Time

Once your refund request is approved:

  • The refund is processed within 7 business days
  • Funds are returned to the original payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.)
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 3-10 business days for the funds to appear on your statement

What Happens to Your License

After a refund is processed:

  • Your license key is deactivated
  • The application will return to trial mode (or stop working if the trial period has expired)
  • All locally stored data (transcription history, glossaries, settings) remains on your Mac and is not affected

Subscription Cancellations

For Monthly and Annual subscriptions:

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account or by emailing support
  • Cancellation stops future charges but does not automatically refund the current billing period
  • If you want a refund for the current period, request it within 30 days of the most recent charge

Lifetime License Refunds

For Lifetime licenses:

  • Full refund available within 30 days of original purchase
  • After 30 days, refunds are not available, but your license remains valid indefinitely
  • Optional paid update renewal is also covered by the 30-day refund policy from the renewal date

Exceptions

The 30-day money-back guarantee does not apply if:

  • You violated our Terms of Use (e.g., resold the license, used it on more than 3 devices)
  • You attempted to circumvent license verification
  • More than 30 days have passed since the purchase or renewal

Payment Processor

Payments are processed by Paddle (paddle.com), which acts as our Merchant of Record. Refunds are issued through Paddle and may also be subject to Paddle's policies. For more information, see Paddle's Refund Policy.
