Local mode
In local mode, audio is processed on your Mac through WhisperKit and is not sent to OpenAI for transcription. History and saved audio stay local.
Cloud features
Cloud transcription sends audio to OpenAI. AI Fix-It and EN mode send text. These features use your personal OpenAI API key.
What is not collected
VoiceToPrompt analytics should not include dictated text, audio, OpenAI API keys, license keys, file names, project paths, or personal content.
